SeaWorld San Antonio is two parks sharing a gate: the ride-and-show park and the water park. A one-day visit must choose a primary; the summer-honest version is water-park mornings and coaster evenings, and the spring version is all rides.
The coaster core is walkable in a morning: Iron Rattler, the Great White and Steel Eel sit in two clusters. The show schedule and the quarry are the other half of the day.
The water park is a major component in summer and its admission structure matters — a ride-focused spring visit and a water-focused July visit are different tickets and different days. Check what your ticket includes.
The quarry hybrid is a legitimate top-tier Texas coaster. If you are driving from Arlington's Six Flags or Austin, it is the single ride that justifies the trip.
